Groups provide an opportunity for small groups of students to learn from one another and feel less alone with what they struggle with. Groups are typically formed at the beginning of the semester and usually meet once a week, for anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half. One to two staff therapists facilitate each group. Group members are expected to maintain the confidentiality of all group members.

To join a group, contact VCCS at 845-437-5700 or the facilitator directly to schedule a pre-group meeting to talk about what to expect from group and to see if you're a good fit. Meeting with a group facilitator prior to starting group is usually required.
